The use of colored contact lenses has been increasingly popular, whether to dramatically change or subtly enhance the natural eye color. Freshlook Colorblends Contact Lenses are colored lenses that use a patented 3-in-1 color technology to enhance the natural eye color; combining 3 colors to vibrantly or subtly enhance the natural appearance of the eyes. Freshlook Colorblends is available in spherical and toric soft contact lens designs.
The 3-in-1 color technology combines 3 colors into one. The color of the outer ring defines the color of the eye while the central ring of the lens contains the primary color that transforms the eye color and gives a new look of the eye. The inner ring of the contact lens brightens and adds depth to the color combination.
The 3-in-1 color technology aims to blend the color of the lens to the eye color augmenting the wearer’s natural eye color.
Freshlook Colorblends Contact Lenses comes in a variety of shades to get a beautiful and natural-looking eye appearance that suits your needs and own style. These lenses are available in the following shades: Sterling Gray, Brilliant Blue, Gemstone Green, Honey, True Sapphire, Gray, Blue, Green, Pure Hazel, Brown, Amethyst, and Turquoise.
Vision correction
Freshlook Colorblends spherical contact lenses are indicated for the correction of near- and farsightedness in non-diseased eyes that may have a refractive astigmatism of up to 2.0 diopters.
Freshlook Colorblends toric contact lenses are colored contacts for astigmatism and indicated for the correction of near- and farsightedness in non-diseased eyes that may have a refractive astigmatism of up to 6.0 diopters.
FreshLook soft contact lenses are available in the following power ranges:
- Spherical lens : -20.00D to +20.00D
- Toric lens + Spherical power: -20.00D to +20.00D; Cylinder: -0.75 D to -6.00 D; Axis: 0° to 180° in 1° steps
Technology
Freshlook Colorblends Contact Lenses are made of Phemfilcon A, a hydrophilic material with 55% water content.
Freshlook Colorblends toric lenses have an affixed colored pigment on the front surface of the lens which acts as an orientation mark. This FTL indicator helps to ensure proper application of the lens.
The spherical and toric lenses are tinted green for enhanced visibility. Phthalocyanine green is used as color additive. The color additive does not affect optical performance and is not removed by cleaning and disinfecting.
Safety information
Colored contact lenses are medical devices. An eye care professional should be consulted before using any type of contact lens whether for medical or cosmetic use.
Freshlook Colorblends Contact Lenses are to be replaced every 2 weeks. These lenses are designed for daily wear (less than 24 hours while awake) and should be removed before sleeping. Proper adherence to cleaning, disinfecting, and storage practices should be observed.
Failure to follow lens care regimen increases the risks of developing lens-related eye complications. CIBA VISION recommends the use of sterile solutions in the lens care. Sterile non-preserved solutions should only be used if the contact lens wearer is allergic to preservatives.
