Question

Sir,

In addition to explanation of my previous eye illness., Now I am again feeling CSR symptoms. Last time CSR occurred in Dec 2018 and doctors didn't advised eye injection as it was already 3 times injected. Oral medicine with (epler 50mg) suggested by doctor and my vision was restored.

Now due to Coronavirus all OPDs and eye clinics are closed. Kindly advise me in this regard. Should I start using epler 50mg and what dosage is recommended?. Or you suggest some other treatment?.

Sir/ madam I will be waiting for your kind response.

Thanks

Thanks for uploading the images.

Eplerenone can be used for patients with chronic CSR as in many studies it showed anatomical and functional improvement in patients with Chronic and recurrent CSR.

However, this medication should be taken under doctor supervision. The best way is to contact the doctor who treated you before to see what are his recommendations.

Another modality of treatment that you might think about is laser micropulse for the leakage point of the CSR and this new treatment showed significant improvement for patients with chronic CSR.

You might want to think about that and you can ask your doctor about it.
