Question
Hi,
I had PRK (photorefractive keratectomy) done on my right year over 1 year ago from -3.00 its now 0.00
I did left eye in February this year it's now + 0.75.
I have a lot of glare, type wrong all the time because i misplace my hand on the keypad.
Doctor says its perfect. I get constant headaches and I'm not happy.
Do I need PRK enhancement - are my eyes correct after PRK
Thanks
Answer
Thanks for your Question
First of all we have to know what are the causes of glare. Clinical examination by your doctor is very important and also corneal image by Pentacam can show if you have high order aberration that can cause glare.
Causes of glare after PRK are dry eyes, corneal haziness or scar, decentered ablations or optical zone and high order aberration.
According to clinical examination and Pentacam we can determine if you need Enhancement.
