Consumer Reviews of Bobbi Brown Long Wear Gel Eyeliner

Let’s take a look at some of the user reviews for Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner.

Positive Feedback

  • I have used them while working out in the gym and I had no issues with smudging. It doesn’t come off even though I’m sweating.

  • I use argon oil on my face so my eyeliner and eye shadow would usually smudge. But with this liner, it stays the entire day without smudging.

  • Super easy to apply and dries quickly.

  • I like the creamy consistency and the opacity of the formula. It doesn’t feel heavy on the lids too.

  • It lasts longer than my liquid liners. I haven’t used them for months and when I tried to use it, it still works!

  • It works well for cat eyes and smoky eyes.

  • There’s a variety of bold colors.

Negative Feedback

  • I have to use a setting spray with it. Without the spray it slightly transfers to my brow bone.

  • It’s hard to remove from the lids.

  • It flakes away few hours after application. I have tried with different brushes but it still falls off to my cheeks.

  • It doesn’t last long on my oily lids.

  • It smudges without a primer.

  • I had to try with a couple of brushes before I could apply it right.

  • Most of the colors seem to be too dark.

A 0.1 oz/3 grams bottle retails for $26 in Bobbi Brown’s official website. It can be a bit expensive considering the size, but some users have mentioned that it lasts for months, and without drying out too. This could mean making the most out of your money in the long run.

Gel-based eyeliners may be less popular than its liquid counterpart, but if gel-based formula works for you or you just want to give it a try, Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Gel Eyeliner could be your best bet.

With the wide range of available colors, you can mix and match and style according to your desires. Coming from a trusted brand and with its great reviews, it’s definitely worth the bucks. Just make sure to follow storage instructions to keep it from drying out, which is a main concern when it comes to eyeliner products.
