Question

Hi,

I had a corneal transplant in Asia 3 months ago. The doctor over there asked me to use Vismed eye drop, which has 0.18% sodium hyaluronate to lubricate my eyes and make artificial tears.

I cannot find this med in America. Could you please help me find which is the best eye drop I can use to replace this one?

Thank you so much

Answer

Thanks for your question

You can use Artelac advance eye drops or Hylo-Forte eye drops. Both of them are preservative free and with 0.2% sodium hyaluronate. Hylo-Forte is also phosphate free to avoid corneal calcifications.
