Question

Hi,

I was told that an eye drops, if unopened, is effective up to six months after expiration date. Just wanna now if this is true cause my eye-drops got misplaced and I have a bottle that expired in April but its unopened and I wanna use it till my visit to the optician which is due in August.

I don't have a choice so I will be using it tonight, is it safe to continue. Awaiting your urgent reply.

Thanks

Even if it is unopened, it is unsafe to use expired eye drops. You should buy a new Lumigan Eye Drops.

The ingredients will participate and form small particles which can be toxic to your cornea and can cause small corneal abrasions.
