Hi,

I have an lump at side of my eye that has just come up it is all red and swollen and painful I'm just wondering what it could be?

Most likely it is stye eye infection or chalazion.

You need antibiotics eye drops for the stye and antibiotics with mild steroid for chalazion. You can differentiate between both that stye has white head on the eyelid margin, while chalazion doesn't.
