Thanks for your Question

The most common causes of eye twitching are stress, lack of sleep and tiredness. Usually and for unknown causes, the left eyelid is affected more the the right eyelid. Try to eliminate these causes and your condition will improve.

Other medical causes of eye twitching are:

1- Blepharospasm. Associated with involuntary spasms of the eye lid and muscles of the face.

2- Hemifacial spasm.

3- Dry eye. Associated with other signs and symptoms of dry eyes.

4- Allergy. Also associated with other allergy symptoms such as itching, eye swelling and redness.

If you think you have any of these medical condition, you should visit your eye doctor.
