Question

Hey,

I just Switched to Contact lenses. My Power is as below

Left eye : -2.75 sph
Right eye : -1.75 sph

This works fine with the Glasses, but I am having issue with the contact lens.

I'm facing blur vision in left eye with contact lens. In fact, i can't focus on my laptop, words are blurry even for the short distance.

I have test the another pair of lens. but same issue. Vision is not stable, sometimes it is just fine and then again blurry.

Does it take time to adjust ? or do I need to reduce the power in contact lens.?

Right Eye is just fine with contact lens.

Please advise.

Thanks for your Question

First of all You have to visit an optometrist to recheck the refractive power in your left eye which can be wrong.

The second thing, contact lenses are associated with dry eyes which can cause fluctuation of vision. You can use artificial tears for dry eyes. You have to know that not all artificial tears can be used while you wearing contact lenses.

You have to take your contact lens off and apply the eye drops and wait for 10 minutes before you wear them again. Some types of artificial tears such as Systane Lubricant eye drops for Contact Lenses can be used while you wearing contact lenses.

Some types of contact lenses can be called the best contacts for dry eyes. They are made from certain materials that work in special ways in dry environment.
