Hi,
 
I had a cataract surgery this morning, the surgeon fixed a lens in my eye and removed it and put in another lens. The procedure took longer than my right eye which was done on 31st of March.
 
Currently my vision is extremely blurry with my eye which got operated this morning. It's not the same as the right eye?
 
Is there any problem? The doctor thinks it's due to swelling!

Cloudiness in the first few days after cataract surgery can be for many reasons. You said that your doctor said that you have swelling. I think he meant corneal swelling. Corneal swelling or corneal edema is very common temporary complication after cataract surgery especially the prolong surgery.
 
Phaco probe with U/S generates heat during surgery which causes temporary dysfunction of corneal endothelial cells. These cells responsible for pumping the water out from the cornea. It takes few days to weeks for these cells to function normally again.
 
Another common cause of corneal edema is high intraocular pressure which also temporary and can be reduced with anti-glaucoma medications.
 
I think you should have post operation follow-up the day after the surgery and one week after that. Your eye doctor will prescribe medications for you that you should take them as been told. Within a week you will feel gradual improvement in your vision
