Hi,

I have left swollen eye lid with pain and yellowish sticky discharge for 3 days

I received treatment ( tobradex and zymar eye drops ) but without any improvement ..

My husband got infected fro me ( he got left swollen eyelid too )

What should I do or take ?

How long does it take to be cured cause I work ?

Most likely this is viral conjunctivitis. Viral Conjunctivitis is a self-limiting disease usually within a week and you just need eye drops to relieve symptoms of redness, itching, burning and foreign body sensation. Tobradex is fine just make sure to take it 5 times a day.

Use also artificial tears to relieve burning and foreign body sensation. Try not to wear your contact lenses until you are cured.

In case you didn't feel any improvement, you should visit your eye doctor.
