Question

Hi,

Near sighted, 51 yr old,rt eye opacity- no doctor has been able to detect it. They think dry eye, but no lubricants seem to help. Presents as cloudy vision and feeling of something in eye.

Using a homemade occluder I can see the shape of the opacity and the field not behind the opacity is clear and bright. Ophthalmologist had no insight. It would not effect vision but it is sitting right in the middle of my field of vision. Been to two optometrists also.

I think it is in cornea because of the discomfort. Had the problem for 1.5 yrs.

How can they not see it?

Who could help?

Thanks

Thanks for your Question

I don't think your doctors missed it. It might be in the peripheral part of your cornea and it is insignificant. The best thing is to address this problem with your doctor. Without a picture of your eye i can't help you.
