Hi,

I will try to keep this as short as possible. I have Myopic macular degeneration. As a side effect of this disorder i have trouble with distinguishing many colors. One way i cope with this is through an app on my smartphone that inveets the colors i have trouble seeing.

The app is extremely helpful and with it i can read everything on every colorblind chart i have tried as opposed to not being able to see anything without it.

However, it is very impractical to walk around with a phone strapped to my face when i need to distinguish colors.

My question is; are there glasses that can invert colors in real time, or bluetooth my apps display to them so i can see my phone screen through them? If so, how much are they, where can i find them, would insurance pay for them?

I am not familiar of such mobile apps but i think you have to ask an optometrist , they can be more helpful.
