Question

Hi,

I was recently diagnosed with a -2.00 is my right eye.

According to the doctor, I am only using my left eye to see far distance.

He suggested I get one contact lens.

How important is this?

Can I get away with doing nothing?

Will it add a lot to my vision?

I don't get headaches or have a problem seeing.

Thanks

First of all, we should dilate both eyes with cycloplegic eye drops in order to find any hidden refractive errors and if you have no vision problems, eye strain or headache so there is no need to wear contact lens.
