I use Refresh Tears - lubricant eye drops for my contacts

Hi,

I wear my contacts for more than 12 hours and my eyes are extremely irritated, although I use lots of artificial tears already.

What should I do to care for my eyes?

You are wearing contact lens for a long time and this can cause severe dry eyes. Contact lens can cause hypoxia to corneal epithelial cells that why You should take off your contact lens for few days and use preservative free lubrication every 2-3 hours and give time for your eye to rest and heal.

You should think about refractive surgery as an alternative to contact lens.
