Question

hi,

I have white particles building up on the bottom waterline of my eye from the corners on both eyes. I thought it was an allergy to a new face wash which i stopped however they keep appearing. when the build up is a lot they float in my actual eye.

Any idea what this could be. the pharmacy said it wasn't an infection as my eyes are not sticking together and gave me allergy eye drops but no change.

Thanks

Thanks for your Question

Most likely these are dried tear films that build up at the corner of your eyes especially when you wake up. It means that the drainage of tear is blocked and the tear is building up.

If you don't feel any improvement within 1-2 weeks, you should visit your eye doctor.
