Question

Hi,

My name is yumna I'm 20 years old. iI've been experiencing this burning sensation in my cornea since last 3 to 4 years but never went to any eye doctor.

There are these few broken capillaries near my cornea which becomes red and much more visible when my eyes are burning excessively while they burn a little less otherwise but the burning sensation is constant though it varies from more to less time to time i've been seeing these floaters too much often and black and blue spots too that aren't that often. There is also a brown spot around my iris too.

Thanks

Thanks for your Question

Burning sensation is mainly caused by dry eyes. Try to use Preservative free lubricant eye drops daily for a month and see how things go. These capillaries are normal blood vessels of the conjunctiva which is transparent membrane that cover the white part of the eye. These capilleries become more visible with dry eyes and tiredness.

Brown spots that you have near the cornea is normal conjunctival pigmentations and nothing to worry about.
