Question

Hi,

I punctured the white portion of the eye with a small wire. Nothing is open tonight; what do I do while waiting to make an appointment? Do I use eyedrops? Is this something I should go to a doctor for?

Thank you

 Left subconjunctival hemorrhage

Answer

Thanks for your Question

This is subconjuctival hemorrhage from the trauma and it seems to be superficial. Nothing to worry about. Just use antibiotics eye drops to prevent any infection of the wound.

If you have severe pain or blurry vision you should visit your eye doctor
