Question

Hello,

I am a computer major and have recently been getting migraines when I stare at a laptop for too long. I am also still in college.

When I wear my glasses to those classes, I do not get a headache but I would rather wear my contacts to class especially when I have other classes not with the computer throughout the day.

Would I be able to wear computer reading glasses so they block the blue light but also while wearing my contacts?

Thanks

Answer

Thanks for your Question

First of all you have to be sure that the refractive power for contact lens is comparable to that of your eyeglasses because that might be the cause of your headache.

Second thing you can wear blue light glasses while you are wearing contact lenses but in general you don't need that as most of the contact lenses now can protect your eyes from blue light and glare from computer screen.
