Hi,

What kind of corticosteroid eye drop can i use for the treatment of the pterygium in my left eye.

There is no medical treatment for pterygium. When pterygium is inflamed with redness, pain , tearing and foreign body sensation you can use mild corticosteroid to reduce these symptoms but it won't cure the pterygium. Surgical removal of pterygium is the only cure.

After removal of pterygium, amniotic membrane graft or conjunctival graft is used with antimetabolite medication such as mitomycin or 5 fluorouracil to prevent recurrence of pterygium after removal
