Hi,

I am experiencing Chemosis based on what I have researched on the internet. It's my first time to have this feelings on my eyes.

I am a bit scared that it might affect my vision. I hope you could help me doctor.

From the image that you attached, you have swelling of the conjunctiva on your left eye which as you know is called chemosis.

There are many causes of it such as allergic, bacterial and viral conjunctivitis with allergy is the most common cause. Symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis are itching, excessive tearing, puffy eyes and mucous-whitish discharge.

You can use any antihistamine eye drops and lubricant eye drops to treat allergic conjunctivitis.

In case there is yellowish-green discharge, eye pain, blurry vision or condition getting worse, please you have to visit your eye doctor for further evaluation.
