I wonder why my eye is red and painful with blurry vision Sometimes.

There are many causes of temporary red, painful eye such as dry eyes, eye infection, recurrent corneal epithelial defects, recurrent anterior uveitis and Recurrent angle closure glaucoma.

You should visit your eye doctor for full eye examination to find ut the cause of that because without full eye examination we can't know the cause.
