Biopsy for rhabdomyosarcoma (2004)
Blepharoplasty (2019, November)
In 2004/2005, i had an embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma at the left orbit of the eye. It was treated with surgery, chemotherapy and radiation therapy.
I've had the "dot" in my as a result for many years due to this, a real life doctor has checked it out and everything is fine with it.
Question
Hello,
Many thanks for your time, i highly appreciate it, especially during the current tough times.
Yesterday, i spotted whatever it is that is going on in the corner of my left eye and i was wondering if you could maybe let me know what this could be? any advice is highly appreciated, thank you so much.
Thanks
Answer
Thanks for your Question
This part of the eye is called caruncle and it contains sebaceous glands, hair follicles, sweat glands and accessory lacrimal glands so blockage of any of these glands can cause swelling and cyst, the same of what you have.
I would ignore it for now and just observe it for any pain, discharge, redness or growth in size. In this case it should be examined properly in the eye clinic.
