Hi doctor,

I am wearing eyeglasses for about 5years.I am facing difficulties while playing football with specs.will contact lenses help me or not

Wearing contact lenses while playing football, hockey or rugby give you better option and safer than wearing eyeglasses and you should wear soft contact lenses not hard or rigid contact lenses.

Contact lenses can enhance your visual performance by widening your peripheral visual field and increase the depth of perception.

Some people don't feel comfortable with contact lenses and in this case, laser eye surgery can be an alternative way.
