Question

Hi there,

So I've been wearing -1.00 contact lens for over a year now and haven't had a chance to go to the doctor to get a check up if my prescription has changed. I wear -1.00 glasses at home and only wear my contact lenses when i go out.

Out of curiosity i tried putting my glasses on over my contact lenses and i noticed that my eyesight is slightly better when doing so, my glasses are the same prescription as my contact lenses,my question is, does this mean the correct prescription for me would be -2.00?

Thanks

Thanks for your Question

Well most likely yes but sometimes over minus can give you clear vision but also can cause headache if you wear wrong prescription for long time.

You should examine your eye with your optometrist or with your eye doctor. You should take off your contact lenses off at least three days before visual acuity examination.
