Hi,

My eye is red and watering and is in pain. It’s hard to open.

People with your case should be seen by an eye doctor as soon as possible to rule out infection from contact lens. Sleeping with contact lens increase the risk of corneal infection.

Meanwhile, don't wear your contact lenses unless your doctor permits that and you can use lubricant eye drops every 1-2 hrs to alleviate pain.
