Question

Hi,

I am 26 y/o female. I started wearing transitional lenses almost 2 yrs ago to help with tension headaches & focusing issues, especially in my right eye. I renewed my prescription about 6 month ago cuz my eye doctor said my focusing issue had worsened.

It's been ok for awhile but now i'm having this sort of pressure behind my right eye, which has led to headaches/ fatigue and a bit of blurred vision even with my glasses on (although it's worse with my glasses off).

I don't know why my vision is deteriorating so quickly (on one in my family has every had any vision problems). I  am worried there might be something wrong w/ my optic nerve. what should i do?

Thanks

Thanks for your Question

First of all i need to know why you are wearing progressive Contact Lenses. You still young to have presbyopia. I need to know what are your refractive powers.

You should recheck your refractive power with cycloplegic eye refraction. Full eye examination is important to rule out any other causes of blurred vision.

Many causes not related to the eye can cause pain behind the eye such as sinusitis, teeth problems and migraine.
