Hi,

Since I have been on Genteal Eye drops my blood glucose levels have remained high, even insulin doesn't bring the counts down.

There are no studies and data that show Genteal can cause resistance high blood glucose in patients with Diabetes Mellitus.

To minimize systemic side effects of Genteal and any eye drops we should decrease systemic absorption of these eye drops by pressing the inner corner of the eye after using eye drops for few minutes.

This method will decrease drainage of eye drops through Nasolacrimal system, thus decreasing systemic absorption.
