Question

Hi,

I have been getting these blurry squiggly lines in my right eye that makes it hard and almost impossible to see and read.

They just started happening in the last couple of weeks, and have been happening more often. I had an eye appointment check up a couple of moths ago with no issues reported.

I just want to know if I should make an appointment to have it looked at.

Thanks

Answer

Thanks for your Question

These blurry squiggly lines are called eye floaters. Person who experienced it for the fist time should have full eye examination. Most of the time eye floaters are caused by a benign condition called posterior vitreous detachment but sometimes retinal tears, holes or retinal detachment can cause it so eye examination is recommended.
