Question

Hi,

This procedure is available privately in a few branches near me by a company named laservision. The story behind it is very convincing but does anyone here know if its safe? Are there risks like there are with an operation to remove floaters?

If this is an actual procedure will it completely clear my floaters or will it just make them seem better?

Thanks

Answer

Thanks for your Question

This procedure is very effective in the treatment of Eye Floaters. Not all floaters can be treated by this procedure.

During dilated fundus examination, your eye doctor can determine which eye floaters can be vaporized by YAG laser without causing any complications. Most of the time, more than one session is required to clear up all eye floaters.
