Question

Hello,

I feel that I have pretty good vision. Anybody can hand me any printed material and I can read it no problem. It doesn't matter the size of the print or how near or far it is from my eyes, I can read it clearly with no blurriness or anything. I can even read stuff on colored prints that others can't.

Well, today I went to the DMV and they said I barely passed the test. I'd like to play it off as I was just tired, but I hope it isn't more.

I can't afford any eye test or anything, so I'm just wondering how I can read even the smallest of print on medicine bottles and the like, but then supposedly barely passed the DMV test.

Thanks

Answer

Thanks for your Question

People with nearsightedness (Myopia) can see close objects clear while the far objects unclear and blurry. The only things you can do is to wear prescribed eyeglasses by visiting an optometrist. There are plenty of optical shops can offer free eye test.
