yedrıos prescribed by a doctor yesterday to treat stye/infection
Short sided, wear lenses -2.25 D
Question
Hi,
I've been using the eye patch to heat, eye drops, eye wash and ointment prescribed by a doctor yesterday to treat stye in the upper eyelid. The stye in my upper eyelid is better but it has spread to the lower eyelid.
I think it's because i used the ointment wrong and put it on the lower (not infected) eyelid thinking blinking makes the ointment spread and treat the upper eyelid. Now there is a stye in my lower eyelid.
Should i keep using the ointment to treat the new one too or stop?
Thanks
Answer
Thanks for your Question
Keep using the eye ointment. Apply the cream on your finger and spread it on your eyelid, upper and lower. Don't touch the tip of the ointment with your eyelid as this might spread the styes and infection. You have to wash your hand before apply the eye cream.
I would recommend not to wear your contact lens until all styes are healed
