Hi,

My upper eyelid is swollen and it hurts and sometimes my eyes will tear up a little, I would like to know the causes and cure for it

There are many causes of swollen eyelid and the most common causes are stye,chalazion, allergic conjunctivitis or viral conjunctivitis. Most of the time a combination of antibiotics and steroid eye drops such as tobradex can be very helpful for the treatment of this condition.

I think you require doctor prescription to buy this medication. I would recommend that you visit your eye doctor to be sure about the diagnosis and give you the proper eye drops.
