Question

Hi

I was recently told that I am at a high risk for getting glaucoma, I have normal eye pressure 15, but 70% cupping in my eyes. And the only thing the doctor told me to not do was head stands.

I am just wondering if going on roller coasters, or doing bungee jumping or sky diving will increase my eye pressure?

Thank you!

Answer

Thanks for your Question

You should do baseline OCT and Visual Field and corneal Pachymetry and repeat them every 6 months. You should be treated with anti glaucoma eye drops if any changes appear in these tests even if your intraocular pressure is High.

You should continue your life style as usual as nothing of things that you mentioned have long run effects on intraocular pressure.
