Hi,

I have a lazy eye with astigmatism and poor vision that is corrected with glasses.

Can I get surgery to correct all of these and not need glasses anymore ?

Thanks for your Question

You can do refractive surgery if:

1- The vision in the amblyopic eye improved with glasses. You have to know that the visual acuity in that eye after the refractive surgery will be the same as visual acuity with glasses maybe with some improvement in contrast and color sensitivity.

2- You pass all the required ocular examinations and diagnostic tests that are required for refractive surgery such as pentacam.
