Question

Hi,

My right eye is bloodshot red and really painful when exposed to light. Also when i touch the eyeball area at the top its painful.

Today i was out and about and it was sunny so it hurt but when i got home where it was darker i saw floating objects for a short while then it stopped. Every once in a long while i see one floating object from the corner of my eye going from up to down

I recently had eyelash extensions and suspect either the eyelash glue or maybe a stray lash poking the eye

What should i do

Thanks

Answer

Thanks for your Question

There are many causes of red painful eye such as dry eyes, infection conjunctivitis, corneal foreign bodies, high intraocular pressure, uveitis and many many other causes.

The only way to find out the cause is full eye examination. You should visit the eye doctor for full evaluation of your condition.
