Question

Hi,

Sometimes my vision became blurry, the images appeared in wavy lines. This lasts for about 30 minutes, followed by a headache for two hours.

Is this normal?

Thanks

Thanks for your question

Most likely you have ocular migraine which is a temporary visual disturbance in one or both eyes and it is not a serious condition. There are many triggers for it that you can avoid. I recommend  to have comprehensive eye examination to be sure that there are no other causes and also to provide the required treatments

There are two types of medical treatments for ocular migraine, one that prevent the attacks especially for those who experienced more than one attack per day and the second one that reduce the headache once the attack started.
