Hi,

My daughter 10 is experiencing short sight, color blindness and she is seeing stripes (red and silver ) in her vision after swimming on October 23. She also reports smoke in her vision.

What could be the problem.

Thanks for your Question

There are many causes of that such as dry eyes, corneal edema, bacterial, viral infection, optic neuritis, uveitis and many other.

You should take her to an eye doctor ASAP because the only way to find the cause is complete ocular examination.
