Question

Hello,

I had an accident 26 days before and got fracture on my right orbital floor and posterolateral margin of orbit.

The vision of my right eye is blurry and decreased. I was advised to wait for a month. My physician told me that it will heal on its own but the vision is still blurry.

Please help me. How and when my vision get cured?

Thanks

Answer

Thanks for your Question

After trauma, the vision should improve gradually over few days to weeks if there is no permanent damage.

Your doctor should run full ocular examination for your eye and also orbital imaging to make sure there is no permanent damage to the eye or optic nerve.

You should go back to him and ask for explanation about why you vision still blurry till now, is there any permanent damage to retina or optic nerve?
