Thanks for your Question

Chickenpox is caused by Varicella-zoster virus which can also affect the eye. Children with ocular involvement complain of redness, irritation, tearing, photophobia and lid swelling. It can affect the eyelid, conjunctiva, cornea and uvea.

Most of the time it heals be itself without any ocular complications but your kid should be assessed by an ophthalmologist because sometimes steroid eye drops is required during the healing process.
