8 month baby with white discharge in the right eye What should i do?

If this discharge is associated with red eye, most likely it is an eye infection and you should visit your eye doctor.

Discharge without eye redness is most likely to be due to Nasolacrimal duct obstruction which is common in children under 1 year old.

Hot compressor with massage to the corner of the eye near the nose is the treatment of choice for this condition.
