Hi,

I have had blurry vision for about a week now in my left eye. I went to the optometrist that did an OCT scan and said the retinal layer under the macular is lifting. My vision is quite blurry, sensitive to light and lines through my left eye on the right hand side appear wavy.

How serious is this? Will I end up with retinal detachment? I'm scared I could have vision loss. I have OCT scan pictures if you want to see them. Should I see an ophthalmologist?
