Question

Hi doctor,

Since the last 4 days I am having blurry central vision in right eye. I am 33 years old. When I look from right eye, object appearing blurry, wavy, dim, faded color, small and distant. Also I can feel a circular eye shadow like a frosted glass slightly yellowish as I look through my right eye.

My eye pressure was 22 mm Hg in the right eye and 15 mm HG in the left. I have no eye power. I have a slight headache for few days but its not that painful even right eye not painful.

I wish to know what may be the cause.

Thanks for the help.

Thanks for your Question

Actually there are many reasons for that and the only way to have the exact diagnosis is full eye examination.

But from the symptoms you have i have two things in my mind:

1- Central serous retinopathy. In which a fluid is collected under the macular which affect the central vision. It is self limited condition but multiple imaging studies should be done to confirm that. The symptoms of this disease is blurry central vision with wavy lines and faded color.

2- Subacute angle closure glaucoma in the right eye as your eye pressure is 22 in that eye and also you have slightly headache.

As i said, you should visit your eye doctor for full examination to confirm the diagnosis and treat you accordingly.
