Question

Hi,

I am considering lens replacement surgery and hoped you could help me with a query I have.

I have a squint which is corrected by my glasses and contact lenses.

Would this also correct my squint as my glasses do.

Thanks

Answer

Thanks for your Question

You have what is called accommodative esotropia which can be corrected with contact lenses or eyeglasses. Phakic intraocular lens implantation to treat accmmodative esotropia in adult is effective and safe.
