Hi,

It started with tearing and i could not move my eyeball due to pain that appear as i move it, the doctor said i have eye infection and i was given tetracycline and allergan eye drops, as i was using the medication i lossed vissoin, for two week now.

The doctor said my pupil does not dilate at all and what is strange is i dont feel any pain even headache. He then requested CT scan, right now i am waiting for the results but i am worried what could be the problem

It seems you have periorbital infection or inflammation which causes eye pain and also affect the nerves that pass behind the eye.

CT scan is very important to find the cause. also blood tests are very helpful.

There are many causes of infection and inflammation such as sinusitis, thyroid eye diseases, idiopathic inflammatory syndrome, sarcoidosis, etc
