Hi,

Patient is a Male 73 years old living in India and finding it hard to see from one eye. He has consulted the local Opthamologist and is diagnosed SRNV. He would like to know what are the best treatment options.

Most likely this SRNV is caused by age related macular degeneration. First of all, OCT and Fluorescein angiography should be done for him to know if the disease id active or not and also to moniter the treatment.

Intravitreal injection for active SRNV or CNV (Choroidal neovascularization) is the main treatment option. There are many types of injections cn be used and your doctor can determine which is the best.
