Question

Hi,

I had screened for LASIK procedure but sadly I am not qualified for it because I have thin cornea.

Is there any other way to make my eyesight clearer

I have -8.00 D and -8.25 D myopia high astigmatism. 300+ cornea thickness

I was advised to take Optein (eye vitamins) and be back after a year or two to be screened again and see results if i will be able to be qualified for LASIK procedure.

Thanks

Thanks for your Question

You have thin cornea and you can't do lasik eye surgery. There is no evidence that eye vitamins can increase the thickness of the cornea

You can do phakic intraocular lens implantation instead of lasik but there are also tests before that to be sure you are a good candidate for it.
