Question

Hi,

My optometrist told me I have tiny holes in the top right of my retina, does this mean it will detach soon?

Thanks

Answer

Thanks for your Question

Not all retinal holes lead to retinal detachment. You should be examined by a retinal specialist in order to determine what types of retinal holes you have and if these holes should be sealed or treated with laser photocoagulation or just follow-up.
