Hi,
 
After 15+ years, the Intraocular lens implant has slipped down on eye ball . can i still read and see?

Do you mean that your intraocular lens was dropped to the back of your eye or just moved from its position.

In case the intraocular lens dropped to the back of your eye, you won't be able to see because your eye now will be hyperopia or farsighted. I don't think you will be able to read also. To treat this condition, the intraocular lens can be removed by vitrectomy and implant a new lens either in the bag, anterior chamber or scleral fixation and if this is not possible, your only option will be eyeglasses.

In case the intraocular lens moved from its position, this can lead to refractive errors such as astigmatism, myopia or hyperopia.

The treatment will be with eyeglasses or contact lenses and if this didn't work, the only option you have is to reposition the intraocular lens in a surgical procedure.
