Hi,

I'm a welder and I have had flash burn more times than I can count.  Last Saturday I was cutting with a plasma cutter and misplaced my glasses so I finished without any glasses on.

That evening I had flash burn in both eyes well after a day or so my left eye was healed but my right eye is still the same and its been 7 days.

It has red blood vessels up in the white part and the second I step out in the sun it starts pouring with water as if I still have flash burn.  My insurance is dropped right now and I know the hospital is going to tell me to go to a eye doctor.

Thanks for your Question

You should always wear safety eyeglasses in your work. These blood vessels are due to pterygium which seems to be inflamed after the flash burn.

Use over the counter preservative free lubricant eye drops 4-5 times.
